In honor of American Beer Month, has teamed up with Free Press Houston and several local Pubs to host Happy Hours in Houston and to help register people to vote!

July is American Beer Month. This grassroots campaign, organized by the Association of Brewers (AOB), was created in 2000 to promote American brewing and celebrate the diversity and variety of American beer. The American Beer Month campaign encourages beer enthusiasts to Celebrate the Flavor and Diversity of American-made Beer tm by visiting their local brewpub, microbrewery or beer retailer during the month-long celebration.

American beer traditions are the richest and most diversified in the world. In addition to a month filled with paying tribute to the hops, will honor another long-standing American tradition ? Voting. events in July will include a voter registration table staffed by our own Deputy Voter Registrars. founder and spokesperson, Chris Hutto, said it best ?As we prepare to celebrate this 4th of July, we find it fitting to honor the most fundamental of our freedoms ? the right to vote.?
