Best Beer Bar in Baltimore, Max’s Taphouse celebrates the End of the World with a Party

Baltimore, Maryland: The Best Beer Bar in Baltimore, Maryland, Max’s Taphouse (, celebrates the End of the World with a party on Friday, December 21st, 2012. Max’s will celebrate by having fifty-six (56) different kegs of Flying Dog Brewery ( available to consumers These 56 different draught beers featured at Max’s Taphouse will be on draught, in cask and on nitro. “This draught takeover of Flying Dog Brewery is believed the be the largest draught take over ever to be held in the United States,” according to Max’s Taphouse owner Ron Furman.

Voted the Best Beer Bar in Baltimore, Maryland, Max’s Taphouse will feature many vintage beers, one offs, core products and seasonals of Flying Dog Brewery. According to General Manager Casey Hard, “Max’s will feature some of these familiar names on draught: Horn Dog, Double Dog, Snake Dog, Disobedience, Nocturnal Nut Brown, Gose, Raging Bitch and Kerberos. These beers range from pilsners to imperial stouts.” There is a great draught beer for everyone.

Max’s Taphouse End of the World party will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2012 beginning at 5 pm. There is no admittance fee for this special event. Max’s will feature special pricing for Flying Dog draught beers. The brewers of Flying Dog will be on hand to answer questions consumers may have regarding the brewing of their products. The owner of Flying Dog Brewery will also make an appearance to celebrate the End of the World party. Max’s Taphouse will also feature special Flying Dog brewery give aways.

Max’s Taphouse will have plenty of growlers available for you to take your favorite Flying Dog brews home with. Purchase your growler before midnight and bring it back every day to get your favorite brew “to go.”

Max’s Taphouse also wants to remind you beer lovers that their upcoming Belgian Beer Festival will be held on President’s Weekend Friday, February 15th, 2013 through Monday, February 18th, 2013. Every draught at Max’s will feature a different Belgian beer. Admittance to this festival is free to the public and Max’s will be open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily.
